About these policies

Three short policies cover 4Within, a 1GlowWithin product: a Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and a Disclaimer. They are written in plain language and follow widely used international privacy principles rather than one country's law, so the same rules apply to every user wherever they live.

The principles followed are those shared by the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the OECD Privacy Guidelines and most national privacy laws:

Fairness and transparency: people are told what is collected, why and who handles it.
Purpose limitation: information is used only to create the person's result and the services they ask for.
Data minimization: only what is needed is collected, and most answers stay on the person's device.
Storage limitation: information is deleted when it is no longer needed.
Security: information is protected and access is limited.
Individual rights: access, correction, deletion and objection, through one contact address.
Accountability: a named owner who answers for how information is handled.

Status: draft for Beta 2. Items in square brackets are owner decisions. A lawyer should review all three policies before Personal Horizons is sold. Policy ID 4W-POLICIES, version 2026-10-30: this version is recorded with each person's agreement and shown in every footer link.

Privacy Policy

Your answers stay on your device until you choose to create your result, and 4Within never sells your information or uses it for advertising.

Who we are. 4Within is a product of 1GlowWithin, a wellness brand owned and run by its founder in Trinidad and Tobago, where 4Within was designed and built. "We" and "us" in these policies mean 1GlowWithin. Questions: contact@1glowwithin.com.

Please don't include health details, other people's private information or anything you would not want shared.

How your information is used

When you choose to create your result, your answers and files are sent securely to an AI service, which writes your result. The AI service is not allowed to use your answers to train its models, and it deletes them automatically within 30 days. We do not keep them after your PDF is created.
We share information only with trusted providers who help us run 4Within, such as hosting, email and payment, and only for that purpose. They may be in other countries, and we require them to protect it.
We never sell your information, use it for advertising or use it to make decisions about you.
We rely on your consent and on providing the service you asked for. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask us to stop using it. "Finish and clear my answers" removes your answers, files and results from your device and from 4Within. It does not remove copies already outside 4Within: PDFs you downloaded, the copy of your Plan emailed to you, or your Gumroad receipt. Before you pay or create a result, "Start over" also deletes your answers and files from your device. If you asked for Progress Check-ins, your email address, first name and time zone are kept only to send them, as shown in the table above. For anything else, email contact@1glowwithin.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

Résumés, photos and public pages

Public pages (social media and websites): 4Within never opens, reads or collects your pages, and does not store their addresses. You choose up to 3 platforms, if any, and share each in one of three ways: a PDF you saved yourself (for example LinkedIn "Save to PDF"), text you paste, or up to 2 screenshots. Crop out other people's faces, comments and messages first. Follower counts, likes and views are never used.
Résumé and certificates: used only to create your result. Please remove phone numbers, home addresses and ID numbers before adding them.
Photos: used only to understand the work, project or activity they show. 4Within never comments on how you or anyone else looks and never uses photos to identify people. Add only photos you have the right to share, and avoid photos of other people, especially children, without their permission.
All of these stay on your device and are deleted when you clear your answers.

People you invite

You send Johari Window invitations yourself; 4Within never contacts the people you invite. They confirm they are 18 or over, their names are not asked for, and their answers are deleted once your Johari Window is sent. Each person's answers appear in your Johari Window as Person A, B and so on, so in a small group you may be able to tell who gave which answers; invited people are told this before they answer. Optional comments are never quoted word for word. If nobody answers before the invitations close, we email you to say so and delete your own answers.

Cookies and device storage

4Within does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and nothing in 4Within follows you to other websites. The anonymous error and usage counts described above are sent without cookies or any identifier, so they cannot be linked to you. 4Within keeps your answers and files in your browser's own storage on your device so it can work and so you can return to where you left off; this storage is never shared and is removed when you clear your answers. Because this storage is needed for 4Within to work, there is no cookie banner. Payment pages are run by Gumroad, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Security and children

We protect your information with appropriate security measures. 4Within is for adults: 18 or over, or the age of adulthood where you live if that is older.

Changes

We will post any change here with a new date, and tell you if a change is significant.

Terms of Use

By using 4Within you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.

Who can use 4Within. You must be 18 or over, and an adult where you live (if the age of adulthood there is older than 18). 4Within is for your own personal use.
The service. 4Within turns your answers into a Personal Insights Profile (free) or a Personal Horizons Plan (US$29.99, one-time), delivered as a PDF. During Beta testing Personal Horizons is free, and features may change.
Your answers. You own what you write and upload. You give 1GlowWithin permission to process it only to create your result and provide the services you choose. Only share information about yourself, or about others with their permission.
Acceptable use. Do not use 4Within for anything unlawful or harmful, upload other people's private information or photos of others without their permission, attempt to break or overload the service, or send Johari Window links to people who have not agreed to take part.
Payment and refunds. Personal Horizons is a one-time payment made through Gumroad. It includes the Plan PDF, the 90-Day Glow Journal and five Progress Check-ins if you ask for them. It is not a subscription. 30-day money-back promise: if Personal Horizons is not useful to you, email contact@1glowwithin.com within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full through Gumroad. You do not need to give a reason. If your Plan cannot be created because of a fault on our side, contact us and we will create it for you. This does not affect any rights you have under the law where you live.
The 90-Day Glow Journal. "The Glow Beneath the Surface" is a 1GlowWithin product licensed to you for personal use. Please do not share, copy for others or resell it.
Our content. 4Within, its design, questions, charts, wording and the 90-Day Glow Journal belong to 1GlowWithin. Your results are yours to keep, print and share.
Other websites. Your Plan links to resources run by others. We check each link on a stated date but do not control or endorse those sites.
Availability. We aim to keep 4Within running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Limits of responsibility. To the extent the law allows, 1GlowWithin is not responsible for decisions you make using your results, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing here limits responsibilities that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use. You can stop at any time and clear your answers from your device. We may suspend access if these terms are broken.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new date. Continuing to use 4Within after a change means you accept it.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and disputes are heard in the courts of Trinidad and Tobago, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.

Disclaimer

Your Profile or Plan is created with AI from your answers: it offers possibilities to consider, not facts or professional advice, and every decision stays yours.

AI can be wrong. Results depend on what you shared and may miss or misread things. Each finding shows what it is drawn from so you can judge it yourself.
Not professional advice. 4Within is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, career-counseling, financial, legal or immigration advice, and it does not diagnose anything. For those needs, speak to a qualified professional.
Personality charts. Personality Tendencies come from a short published questionnaire, and the 4Within Compass and Holland Work Interest Pattern are estimated from your answers. They are prompts for thought, not measurements or types.
Checked resources. Courses, funding, organizations, dates and fees were checked on the date shown in your Plan. A resource whose page could not be checked is shown as a suggested search. Details change often; confirm them with the source before you act. A listing is not an endorsement or a promise of admission, employment or funding.
Decision Matrix and Places to Consider. These compare your own options against your own priorities. They are educational, not financial or immigration advice, and estimates are marked as estimates.
Personal Brand Review. Suggestions are based only on the résumé, descriptions and materials you shared, not a live review of your public pages. They are not professional career, branding or recruitment advice, and they cannot predict how employers or others will respond.
Your decisions. 4Within never decides for you or predicts outcomes.
If you are struggling. 4Within is not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country now.

All three policies sit on one "4Within Policies" page that comes with 4Within: 4within.1glowwithin.com/policies, with sections #terms, #privacy and #disclaimer. The 4Within footer, PDFs and emails link straight to each section, so readers always see the current version, and the page shows its effective date. There is no separate website page to create or maintain, and 1glowwithin.com can link to it from its footer.

Open decisions before launch

Two items are still open before Personal Horizons is sold, a lawyer's review and a tax check; Beta 2 can run on this draft.

Governing law: Trinidad and Tobago (owner decision 23 October 2026, replacing Florida; counsel to confirm)
Refunds: 30-day money-back promise, no reason needed (owner decision 20 October 2026, replacing "none"; 30 days chosen 27 October 2026, replacing 14 days); set a 30-day refund policy in Gumroad. One price for every Personal Horizons Plan (US$29.99); no come-back offer (decided 19 October 2026)
